We offer classes for various age groups, including parent and toddler free play (0-4), pre-school (2-3), primary school (Reception, KS1 & KS2), secondary school (KS3 & KS4), and adult classes (16+). We also provide classes specifically tailored for disabled individuals. Our classes are open to all genders and skill levels, as they are organised to be mixed ability and mixed gender groups.
We maintain a small gymnast-to-coach ratio to ensure personalised attention and effective coaching. Each class will have a ratio of 8 gymnasts to 1 coach, eg: a class of 16 would have 2 coaches. Elements of a gymnastics session may be taught as a whole class or may be taught in smaller groups, always being delivered on the 8:1 ratio. This setup guarantees that your child will receive ample support and guidance during their gymnastics journey.
Our classes run throughout the entire year, with the exception of specific holiday periods such as Christmas, New Year's, and Easter. To stay informed about any updates or changes in the schedule, we encourage you to follow us on social media and regularly visit our website for announcements.
We also host school holiday camps for both members and non members. For more info on holiday camps please use the button below.
We offer club merchandise that is suitable for your child’s gymnastics class. Alternatively, your child can wear their own flexible sportswear. Please avoid clothing with hoods and jeans. Socks and all forms of jewellery, including FitBits/smartwatches, must be removed and nails should be kept short. Additionally, long hair should be secured and tied up during the session.
Your child's gymnastics journey will encompass a variety of skills and aspects. They will engage in floor, beam, and vault work, enhancing their strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and power. Our classes focus on both individual and team-based exercises, allowing our gymnasts to experience different setups and foster an understanding of the body's movement. Overall, our curriculum aims to improve physical, social, and mental well-being.
Yes, we offer a biannual awards programme that serves as a comprehensive progression framework. This scheme covers a wide range of skills and allows gymnasts to demonstrate their gymnastics abilities. Our awards programme provides achievable targets for our gymnasts to strive for, offering a sense of accomplishment as they progress through the scheme. Successful completion of each level results in the gymnast earning awards.
